Popsicles: Refreshing Recipes for Summer Fun - Richmond Moms

Credit: Rosalynn Daniels for @craftboxgirls

Popsicles are synonymous with summer, and for good reason—they’re refreshing on hot days, help hydrate kids and adults alike, and are easy to hold, even for tiny toddler hands. While we don’t judge store bought varieties, making them allows you to control the ingredients, and doubles as a kid-friendly activity. Here are a few recipes to try, divided into two categories—kid-friendly, and 21 & Over (aka spiked varieties). Plus, fun molds to use when making them!

Easy Turkey Chili

Easy Turkey Chili

Winter is chili season in our household, so I’ve been making a pot just about every week, trying new recipes, making my tried and true favorites, and getting creative. This recipe has been the family favorite this season, and I have already made it no less than 7 times since fall finally arrived here in Richmond, VA.

Cute Non-Candy Valentine’s Day Ideas for Kids!

Candy and cards are a classic combo for class Valentine’s gifts, but with more school’s broadening food bans (from peanuts to wheat to, in some cases, all sweets), non-food related choices can be a safer bet. Even if your school is still cool with candy, other parents will likely appreciate the variety.
